Keaial taarog al afikê máyim, ken nafshi taarog elêcha Elohim
Tsamea nafshi lelohim leel chai, matai avo veerae penê Elohim
Haíta li dim’ati léchem iomam valaila, beemor elai col haiom aie Elohêcha
Êle ezkera veesh’pechá alai nafshi, ki eevor bassach edadem ad bet Elohim, becol riná vetodá hamon chogueg
Ma tishtochachi nafshi vatehemi alai, hochíli lelohim ki od odênu ieshuót panav
Elohai alai nafshi tishtochach, al ken ezcorchá meérets Iarden vechermonim mehar mits’ar
Tehom el tehom core lecol tsinorêcha, col mishbarêcha vegalêcha alai aváru
Iomam ietsave Adonai chasdo uvalaila shiro imi, tefila leel chaiai
Omera leel sal’i, láma shechachtáni, láma coder elech beláchats oiev
Berétsach beatsmotai cherfuni tsorerai, beomram elai col haiom aie Elohêcha

1. To the chief Musician, A Maskil, for the sons of Korah.
2. As the deer longs for water streams, so does my soul long for you, O God.
3. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; when shall I come and appear before God?
4. My tears have been my bread day and night, while they continually say to me, Where is your God?
5. When I remember these things, I pour out my soul; how I went with the multitude, leading them in procession to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, a crowd keeping the festival.
6. Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him for the help of his countenance.
7. O my God, my soul is cast down within me, because I remember you from the land of the Jordan, and the Hermon, from Mount Mizar.
8. Deep calls to deep at the noise of your cataracts; all your waves and your billows have gone over me.
9. By day the Lord will command his loving kindness, and in the night his song shall be with me, a prayer to the God of my life.
10. I will say to God my rock, Why have you forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
11. Like a deadly wound in my bones, my enemies taunt me; while they say daily to me, Where is your God?
12. Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

A prayer for the end of our exile, If one was replaced in his position, To Find Favor in the eyes of others

This psalm awakens the hearts of the Children of Israel who do not feel the immense ruin, loss, and bad fortune in their being exiled from their Father's table. Were they wise, they would appreciate their past good fortune in coming thrice yearly, with joy and great awe, to behold God during the festivals, free of adversary and harm. May God place mercy before us from now to eternity, Amen Selah.
