{א} הַלְלוּיָהּ שִׁירוּ לַיהוָה שִׁיר חָדָשׁ תְּהִלָּתוֹ בִּקְהַל חֲסִידִים:
{ב} יִשְׂמַח יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּעֹשָׂיו בְּנֵי צִיּוֹן יָגִילוּ בְמַלְכָּם:
{ג} יְהַלְלוּ שְׁמוֹ בְמָחוֹל בְּתֹף וְכִנּוֹר יְזַמְּרוּ לוֹ:
{ד} כִּי רוֹצֶה יְהוָה בְּעַמּוֹ יְפָאֵר עֲנָוִים בִּישׁוּעָה:
{ה} יַעְלְזוּ חֲסִידִים בְּכָבוֹד יְרַנְּנוּ עַל מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָם:
{ו} רוֹמְמוֹת אֵל בִּגְרוֹנָם וְחֶרֶב פִּיפִיּוֹת בְּיָדָם:
{ז} לַעֲשׂוֹת נְקָמָה בַּגּוֹיִם תּוֹכֵחֹת בַּלְאֻמִּים:
{ח} לֶאְסֹר מַלְכֵיהֶם בְּזִקִּים וְנִכְבְּדֵיהֶם בְּכַבְלֵי בַרְזֶל:
{ט} לַעֲשׂוֹת בָּהֶם מִשְׁפָּט כָּתוּב הָדָר הוּא לְכָל חֲסִידָיו הַלְלוּיָהּ:
{א} הַ֥לְלוּיָ֨הּ ׀ שִׁ֣ירוּ לַֽ֭יהוָה שִׁ֣יר חָדָ֑שׁ תְּ֝הִלָּת֗וֹ בִּקְהַ֥ל חֲסִידִֽים׃
{ב} יִשְׂמַ֣ח יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל בְּעֹשָׂ֑יו בְּנֵֽי־צִ֝יּ֗וֹן יָגִ֥ילוּ בְמַלְכָּֽם׃
{ג} יְהַֽלְל֣וּ שְׁמ֣וֹ בְמָח֑וֹל בְּתֹ֥ף וְ֝כִנּ֗וֹר יְזַמְּרוּ־לֽוֹ׃
{ד} כִּֽי־רוֹצֶ֣ה יְהוָ֣ה בְּעַמּ֑וֹ יְפָאֵ֥ר עֲ֝נָוִ֗ים בִּישׁוּעָֽה׃
{ה} יַעְלְז֣וּ חֲסִידִ֣ים בְּכָב֑וֹד יְ֝רַנְּנ֗וּ עַל־מִשְׁכְּבוֹתָֽם׃
{ו} רוֹמְמ֣וֹת אֵ֭ל בִּגְרוֹנָ֑ם וְחֶ֖רֶב פִּֽיפִיּ֣וֹת בְּיָדָֽם׃
{ז} לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת נְ֭קָמָה בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם תּֽ֝וֹכֵחֹ֗ת בַּל־אֻמִּֽים׃
{ח} לֶאְסֹ֣ר מַלְכֵיהֶ֣ם בְּזִקִּ֑ים וְ֝נִכְבְּדֵיהֶ֗ם בְּכַבְלֵ֥י בַרְזֶֽל׃
{ט} לַעֲשׂ֤וֹת בָּהֶ֨ם ׀ מִשְׁפָּ֬ט כָּת֗וּב הָדָ֣ר ה֭וּא לְכָל־חֲסִידָ֗יו הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃

Halelu Iá, shíru ladonai shir chadash, tehilato bikehal chassidim
Yismach Yisrael beossav, benê Tsión iaguílu vemalcam
Iehalelu shemo vemachol, betof vechinor iezamerú lo
Ki rotsê Adonai amo, iefaer anavim bishuá
Ialezu chassidim bechavod, ieranenu al mishkevotam
Romemot el bigronam, vechérev pifiyot beiadam
Lassot necama bagoyim, tochechot baleumin
Lessor malchehem bezikim, venichbedehem bechavelê varzel
Laassot bahem mishpat catuv, hadar hu lechol chassidav, halelu Iá
Tehillim 149 - Tehillim translated into english
1. Hallelujah! Sing to the Lord a new song, and his praise is sounded in the congregation of the pious.
2. Let Israel rejoice in him who made him; let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
3. Let them praise his name in the dance; let them sing praises to him with the tambourine and lyre.
4. For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he will beautify the humble with salvation.
5. Let the pious be joyful in glory; let them sing aloud upon their beds.
6. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two edged sword in their hand;
7. To execute vengeance upon the nations, and chastisement upon the peoples;
8. To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
9. To execute upon them the judgment written; this is an honor to all his pious ones. Hallelujah.
