Adonai al bekets’pechá tochichêni, uvachamatechá teiasserêni
Ki chitsêcha nichatu vi, vatinchat alai iadêcha
En metom bivsari mipenê zamêcha, en shalom baatsamai mipenê chatati
Ki avonotai averu roshi, kemassa chaved yich’bedu mimeni
Hiv’ishu namácu chaburotai mipenê ivalti
Naavêti shachôti ad meod, col haiom coder hiláchti
Ki chessalai maleu nicle, veen metom bivsari
Nefugôti venidkêti ad meod, shaágti minahamat libi
Adonai negdechá chol taavati, veanchati mimechá lo nistára
Libi secharchar azaváni chochi, veor enai gam hem en iti
Ohavai vereai minégued nig’í iaamôdu, ucrovai merachoc amádu
Vainakeshu mevakeshê nafshi, vedoreshê raati diberu havót, umirmot col haiom iegu
Vaani checheresh lo eshma, ucheilem lo yiftach piv
Vaehi keish asher lo shomêa, veen befiv tochachot
Ki lechá Adonai hochálti, ata taane Adonai Elohai
Ki amarti pen yismechú li, bemot ragli alai higdílu
Ki ani letsêla nachon, umach’ovi negdi tamid
Ki avoni aguid, ed’ag mechatati
Veoievai chayim atsêmu, verabu soneai sháker
Umshalemê raá tachat tová, yistenúni tachat rodfi tov
Al taazvêni Adonai, Elohai al tirchac mimeni

1. A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. 2. O Lord, rebuke me not in your anger; nor chasten me in your wrath.
3. For your arrows stick fast in me, and your hand presses me hard.
4. There is no soundness in my flesh because of your anger; nor is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.
5. For my iniquities have gone over my head; like a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
6. My wounds grow foul and fester because of my foolishness.
7. I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.
8. For my loins are filled with burning; and there is no soundness in my flesh.
9. I am feeble and crushed; I groan because of the tumult of my heart.
10. Lord, all my desire is before you; and my sighing is not hidden from you.
11. My heart throbs, my strength fails me; as for the light of my eyes, it also is gone from me.
12. My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my plague; and my kinsmen stand far away.
13. Those who seek after my life lay snares for me; and those who seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and plot deceits all the day long.
14. But I am like a deaf man who does not hear; I am like a dumb man who does not open his mouth.
15. Thus I was like a man who does not hear, and in whose mouth there are no rebukes.
16. For in you, O Lord, I hope; you will answer, O Lord my God.
17. For I said, Lest they should rejoice over me; when my foot slips, they magnify themselves against me.
18. For I am ready to fall, and my pain is continually before me.
19. For I will declare my iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
20. But my living enemies are strong; and those who hate me wrongfully are many.
21. Those who render me evil for good are my adversaries because I follow after good.
22. Do not forsake me, O Lord! O my God, do not be far from me!
23. Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation!
