{א} לַמְנַצֵּחַ בִּנְגִינֹת מַשְׂכִּיל לְדָוִד:
{ב} בְּבוֹא הַזִּיפִים וַיֹּאמְרוּ לְשָׁאוּל הֲלֹא דָוִד מִסְתַּתֵּר עִמָּנוּ:
{ג} אֱלֹהִים בְּשִׁמְךָ הוֹשִׁיעֵנִי וּבִגְבוּרָתְךָ תְדִינֵנִי:
{ד} אֱלֹהִים שְׁמַע תְּפִלָּתִי הַאֲזִינָה לְאִמְרֵי פִי:
{ה} כִּי זָרִים קָמוּ עָלַי וְעָרִיצִים בִּקְשׁוּ נַפְשִׁי לֹא שָׂמוּ אֱלֹהִים לְנֶגְדָּם סֶלָה:
{ו} הִנֵּה אֱלֹהִים עֹזֵר לִי אֲדֹנָי בְּסֹמְכֵי נַפְשִׁי:
{ז} (ישוב) יָשִׁיב הָרַע לְשֹׁרְרָי בַּאֲמִתְּךָ הַצְמִיתֵם:
{ח} בִּנְדָבָה אֶזְבְּחָה לָּךְ אוֹדֶה שִּׁמְךָ יְהוָה כִּי טוֹב:
{ט} כִּי מִכָּל צָרָה הִצִּילָנִי וּבְאֹיְבַי רָאֲתָה עֵינִי:

{ב} בְּב֣וֹא הַ֭זִּיפִים וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ לְשָׁא֑וּל הֲלֹ֥א דָ֝וִ֗ד מִסְתַּתֵּ֥ר עִמָּֽנוּ׃
{ג} אֱ֭לֹהִים בְּשִׁמְךָ֣ הוֹשִׁיעֵ֑נִי וּבִגְבוּרָתְךָ֥ תְדִינֵֽנִי׃
{ד} אֱ֭לֹהִים שְׁמַ֣ע תְּפִלָּתִ֑י הַ֝אֲזִ֗ינָה לְאִמְרֵי־פִֽי׃
{ה} כִּ֤י זָרִ֨ים ׀ קָ֤מוּ עָלַ֗י וְֽ֭עָרִיצִים בִּקְשׁ֣וּ נַפְשִׁ֑י לֹ֤א שָׂ֨מוּ אֱלֹהִ֖ים לְנֶגְדָּ֣ם סֶֽלָה׃
{ו} הִנֵּ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהִים עֹזֵ֣ר לִ֑י אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י בְּֽסֹמְכֵ֥י נַפְשִֽׁי׃
{ז} (ישוב) [יָשִׁ֣יב] הָ֭רַע לְשֹׁרְרָ֑י בַּ֝אֲמִתְּךָ֗ הַצְמִיתֵֽם׃
{ח} בִּנְדָבָ֥ה אֶזְבְּחָה־לָּ֑ךְ א֤וֹדֶה שִּׁמְךָ֖ יְהוָ֣ה כִּי־טֽוֹב׃
{ט} כִּ֣י מִכָּל־צָ֭רָה הִצִּילָ֑נִי וּ֝בְאֹיְבַ֗י רָאֲתָ֥ה עֵינִֽי׃

Lamnatsêach binguinót maskil ledavid
Bevo hazifim vaiomeru leshaul, halo David mistater imánu
Elohim beshimchá hoshiêni, uvigvuratechá tedinêni
Elohim shemá tefilati, haazína leimrê fi
Ki zarim cámu alai vearitsim bic’shu nafshi, lo sámu Elohim lenegdam sêla
Hine Elohim ozer li, Adonai bessomechê nafshi
Iashiv hara leshorerai, baamitechá hatsmitem
Bindavá ezbechá lach, odê shimchá Adonai ki tov
Ki micol tsará hitsiláni, uveoievai raata eni
Tehillim 54 - Tehillim translated into English
1. To the chief Musician for stringed instruments, A Maskil of David,
2. When the Ziphites came and said to Saul, Does not David hide himself with us?
3. Save me, O God, by your name, and judge me by your strength.
4. Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
5. For strangers have risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul; they have not set God before them. Selah.
6. Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is with those who uphold my soul.
7. He rewards evil to my enemies. O, cut them off in your truth!
8. I will sacrifice a free will offering to you; I will praise your name, O Lord; for it is good.
9. For he has saved me from every trouble; and my eye has gazed upon my enemies.
