{א} שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת רַבַּת צְרָרוּנִי מִנְּעוּרַי יֹאמַר נָא יִשְׂרָאֵל:
{ב} רַבַּת צְרָרוּנִי מִנְּעוּרָי גַּם לֹא יָכְלוּ לִי:
{ג} עַל גַּבִּי חָרְשׁוּ חֹרְשִׁים הֶאֱרִיכוּ (למענותם) לְמַעֲנִיתָם:
{ד} יְהוָה צַדִּיק קִצֵּץ עֲבוֹת רְשָׁעִים:
{ה} יֵבֹשׁוּ וְיִסֹּגוּ אָחוֹר כֹּל שֹׂנְאֵי צִיּוֹן:
{ו} יִהְיוּ כַּחֲצִיר גַּגּוֹת שֶׁקַּדְמַת שָׁלַף יָבֵשׁ:
{ז} שֶׁלֹּא מִלֵּא כַפּוֹ קוֹצֵר וְחִצְנוֹ מְעַמֵּר:
{ח} וְלֹא אָמְרוּ הָעֹבְרִים בִּרְכַּת יְהוָה אֲלֵיכֶם בֵּרַכְנוּ אֶתְכֶם בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה:

{ב} רַ֭בַּת צְרָר֣וּנִי מִנְּעוּרָ֑י גַּ֝ם לֹא־יָ֥כְלוּ לִֽי׃
{ג} עַל־גַּ֭בִּי חָרְשׁ֣וּ חֹרְשִׁ֑ים הֶ֝אֱרִ֗יכוּ (למענותם) [לְמַעֲנִיתָֽם׃]
{ד} יְהוָ֥ה צַדִּ֑יק קִ֝צֵּ֗ץ עֲב֣וֹת רְשָׁעִֽים׃
{ה} יֵ֭בֹשׁוּ וְיִסֹּ֣גוּ אָח֑וֹר כֹּ֝֗ל שֹׂנְאֵ֥י צִיּֽוֹן׃
{ו} יִ֭הְיוּ כַּחֲצִ֣יר גַּגּ֑וֹת שֶׁקַּדְמַ֖ת שָׁלַ֣ף יָבֵֽשׁ׃
{ז} שֶׁלֹּ֤א מִלֵּ֖א כַפּ֥וֹ קוֹצֵ֗ר וְחִצְנ֥וֹ מְעַמֵּֽר׃
{ח} וְלֹ֤א אָֽמְר֨וּ ׀ הָעֹבְרִ֗ים בִּרְכַּֽת־יְהוָ֥ה אֲלֵיכֶ֑ם בֵּרַ֥כְנוּ אֶ֝תְכֶ֗ם בְּשֵׁ֣ם יְהוָֽה׃

Shir hamaalot, rabat tserarúni mineurai iomar na Yisrael
Rabat tserarúni mineurai, gam lo iáchelu li
Al gabi chareshu choreshim, heeríchu lemaanitam
Adonai tsadic, kitsets avot reshaim
Ievôshu veyissôgu achor com soneê Tsión
Yihiu cachatsir gagot, shecadmat shalaf iavesh
Shelo mile chapo cotser, vechitsno meamer
Velo ameru haoverin bircat Adonai alechem, beráchnu etchem beshem Adonai
Tehillim 129 - Tehillim translated into english
1. A Song of Maalot. Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, let Israel now say;
2. Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth; yet they have not prevailed against me!
3. The plowers plowed upon my back; they made long their furrows!
4. The Lord is righteous; he has cut the cords of the wicked!
5. Let them all who hate Zion be put to shame and turned backward!
6. Let them be like the grass on the roof tops, which withers before it is plucked;
7. With which the reaper does not fill his hand; nor he who binds sheaves his bosom!
8. And those who pass by do not say, The blessing of the Lord be upon you; we bless you in the name of the Lord!
