{א} לַמְנַצֵּחַ בִּנְגִינוֹת מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד:
{ב} בְּקָרְאִי עֲנֵנִי אֱלֹהֵי צִדְקִי בַּצָּר הִרְחַבְתָּ לִּי חָנֵּנִי וּשְׁמַע תְּפִלָּתִי:
{ג} בְּנֵי אִישׁ עַד מֶה כְבוֹדִי לִכְלִמָּה תֶּאֱהָבוּן רִיק תְּבַקְשׁוּ כָזָב סֶלָה:
{ד} וּדְעוּ כִּי הִפְלָה יְהוָה חָסִיד לוֹ יְהוָה יִשְׁמַע בְּקָרְאִי אֵלָיו:
{ה} רִגְזוּ וְאַל תֶּחֱטָאוּ אִמְרוּ בִלְבַבְכֶם עַל מִשְׁכַּבְכֶם וְדֹמּוּ סֶלָה:
{ו} זִבְחוּ זִבְחֵי צֶדֶק וּבִטְחוּ אֶל יְהוָה:
{ז} רַבִּים אֹמְרִים מִי יַרְאֵנוּ טוֹב נְסָה עָלֵינוּ אוֹר פָּנֶיךָ יְהוָה:
{ח} נָתַתָּה שִׂמְחָה בְלִבִּי מֵעֵת דְּגָנָם וְתִירוֹשָׁם רָבּוּ:
{ט} בְּשָׁלוֹם יַחְדָּו אֶשְׁכְּבָה וְאִישָׁן כִּי אַתָּה יְהוָה לְבָדָד לָבֶטַח תּוֹשִׁיבֵנִי:

1. To the chief Musician for stringed instruments, A Psalm of David.
2. Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
3. O you sons of men, how long will you turn my glory into shame? How long will you love vanity, and seek after falsehood? Selah.
4. But know that the Lord has set apart the pious man for himself; the Lord will hear when I call to him.
5. Tremble, and do not sin; talk with your own heart on your bed, and be still. Selah.
6. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.
7. There are many who say, Who will show us good? Lord, lift up the light of your countenance upon us.
8. You have put more gladness in my heart than they have whose grain and wine are increased.
9. I will both lie down and sleep in peace; for you alone make me, Lord, dwell in safety.

Psalm 57

{א} לַמְנַצֵּחַ אַל תַּשְׁחֵת לְדָוִד מִכְתָּם בְּבָרְחוֹ מִפְּנֵי שָׁאוּל בַּמְּעָרָה:
{ב} חָנֵּנִי אֱלֹהִים חָנֵּנִי כִּי בְךָ חָסָיָה נַפְשִׁי וּבְצֵל כְּנָפֶיךָ אֶחְסֶה עַד יַעֲבֹר הַוּוֹת:
{ג} אֶקְרָא לֵאלֹהִים עֶלְיוֹן לָאֵל גֹּמֵר עָלָי:
{ד} יִשְׁלַח מִשָּׁמַיִם וְיוֹשִׁיעֵנִי חֵרֵף שֹׁאֲפִי סֶלָה יִשְׁלַח אֱלֹהִים חַסְדּוֹ וַאֲמִתּוֹ:
{ה} נַפְשִׁי בְּתוֹךְ לְבָאִם אֶשְׁכְּבָה לֹהֲטִים בְּנֵי אָדָם שִׁנֵּיהֶם חֲנִית וְחִצִּים וּלְשׁוֹנָם חֶרֶב חַדָּה:
{ו} רוּמָה עַל הַשָּׁמַיִם אֱלֹהִים עַל כָּל הָאָרֶץ כְּבוֹדֶךָ:
{ז} רֶשֶׁת הֵכִינוּ לִפְעָמַי כָּפַף נַפְשִׁי כָּרוּ לְפָנַי שִׁיחָה נָפְלוּ בְתוֹכָהּ סֶלָה:
{ח} נָכוֹן לִבִּי אֱלֹהִים נָכוֹן לִבִּי אָשִׁירָה וַאֲזַמֵּרָה:
{ט} עוּרָה כְבוֹדִי עוּרָה הַנֵּבֶל וְכִנּוֹר אָעִירָה שָּׁחַר:
{י} אוֹדְךָ בָעַמִּים אֲדֹנָי אֲזַמֶּרְךָ בַּלְאֻמִּים:
{יא} כִּי גָדֹל עַד שָׁמַיִם חַסְדֶּךָ וְעַד שְׁחָקִים אֲמִתֶּךָ:
{יב} רוּמָה עַל שָׁמַיִם אֱלֹהִים עַל כָּל הָאָרֶץ כְּבוֹדֶךָ:

1. To the chief Musician, Altaschith, A Miktam of David, when he fled from Saul in the cave.
2. Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious to me, for my soul trusts in you; and in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge, until calamities have passed over.
3. I will cry to God most high; to God who performs all things for me.
4. He shall send from heaven, and save me; he scorns him who would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his loving kindness and his truth.
5. My soul is among lions; and I lie down among those who are set on fire, the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
6. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be above all the earth.
7. They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down; they dug a pit before me, and into its midst they have fallen themselves. Selah.
8. My heart is constant, O God, my heart is constant; I will sing and give praise.
9. Awake up, O my glory! Awake, O lyre and harp! I will awake the dawn!
10. I will praise you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing to you among the nations.
11. For your loving kindness is great to the heavens, and your truth to the clouds.
12. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be above all the earth.

{ב} טוֹב לְהֹדוֹת לַיהוָה וּלְזַמֵּר לְשִׁמְךָ עֶלְיוֹן:
{ג} לְהַגִּיד בַּבֹּקֶר חַסְדֶּךָ וֶאֱמוּנָתְךָ בַּלֵּילוֹת:
{ד} עֲלֵי עָשׂוֹר וַעֲלֵי נָבֶל עֲלֵי הִגָּיוֹן בְּכִנּוֹר:

{ט} וְאַתָּה מָרוֹם לְעֹלָם יְהוָה:
{י} כִּי הִנֵּה אֹיְבֶיךָ יְהוָה כִּי הִנֵּה אֹיְבֶיךָ יֹאבֵדוּ יִתְפָּרְדוּ כָּל פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן:
{יא} וַתָּרֶם כִּרְאֵים קַרְנִי בַּלֹּתִי בְּשֶׁמֶן רַעֲנָן:
{יב} וַתַּבֵּט עֵינִי בְּשׁוּרָי בַּקָּמִים עָלַי מְרֵעִים תִּשְׁמַעְנָה אָזְנָי:
{יג} צַדִּיק כַּתָּמָר יִפְרָח כְּאֶרֶז בַּלְּבָנוֹן יִשְׂגֶּה:
{יד} שְׁתוּלִים בְּבֵית יְהוָה בְּחַצְרוֹת אֱלֹהֵינוּ יַפְרִיחוּ:
{טו} עוֹד יְנוּבוּן בְּשֵׂיבָה דְּשֵׁנִים וְרַעֲנַנִּים יִהְיוּ:
{טז} לְהַגִּיד כִּי יָשָׁר יְהוָה צוּרִי וְלֹא (עלתה) עַוְלָתָה בּוֹ:

1. A Psalm Song for the sabbath day.
2. It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to your name, O most high!
3. To declare your loving kindness in the morning, and your faithfulness every night, 4. Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the harp, to the melody of the lyre.
5. For you, Lord, have made me glad through your work; I will triumph in the works of your hands.
6. O Lord, how great are your works! And your thoughts are very deep!
7. A stupid man does not know; nor can a fool understand this.
8. When the wicked spring like grass, and when all the evil doers flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed forever; 9. But you, O Lord, are most high for evermore.
10. For, behold, your enemies, O Lord, for, behold, your enemies shall perish; all the evil doers shall be scattered.
11. But you shall exalt my horn like the horn of a wild ox; I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
12. My eye has seen the downfall of my enemies, and my ears have heard the doom of the wicked who rise up against me.
13. The righteous flourish like the palm tree; he grows like a cedar in Lebanon.
14. Those that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.
15. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; 16. To declare that the Lord is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

Psalm 108

5. For your loving kindness is great above the heavens; and your truth reaches to the clouds!
6. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; and your glory above all the earth;
7. That your beloved ones may be saved; save with your right hand and answer me!
8. God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth!
9. Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of my head; Judah is my scepter;
10. Moab is my washbasin; over Edom I cast my shoe; over Philistia I shout in triumph!
11. Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
12. Have you not rejected us, O God? You do not go forth, O God, with our armies!
13. Give us help against the enemy; for vain is the help of man!
14. Through God we shall do bravely; and he shall trample down our enemies!

{י} רָשָׁע יִרְאֶה וְכָעָס שִׁנָּיו יַחֲרֹק וְנָמָס תַּאֲוַת רְשָׁעִים תֹּאבֵד:

1. Hallelujah! Happy is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in his commandments!
2. His seed shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed!
3. Wealth and riches shall be in his house; and his righteousness will endure for ever!
4. Light rises in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous!
5. A good man lends with a good grace; he conducts his affairs with justice!
6. Surely he shall never be moved; the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance!
7. He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord!
8. His heart is steady, he shall not be afraid, until he gazes upon his enemies!
9. He has distributed freely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honor!
10. The wicked man shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash his teeth, and melt away; the desire of the wicked comes to naught!

Psalm 122

{א} שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלוֹת לְדָוִד שָׂמַחְתִּי בְּאֹמְרִים לִי בֵּית יְהוָה נֵלֵךְ:
{ב} עֹמְדוֹת הָיוּ רַגְלֵינוּ בִּשְׁעָרַיִךְ יְרוּשָׁלִָם:
{ג} יְרוּשָׁלִַם הַבְּנוּיָה כְּעִיר שֶׁחֻבְּרָה לָּהּ יַחְדָּו:
{ד} שֶׁשָּׁם עָלוּ שְׁבָטִים שִׁבְטֵי יָהּ עֵדוּת לְיִשְׂרָאֵל לְהֹדוֹת לְשֵׁם יְהוָה:
{ה} כִּי שָׁמָּה יָשְׁבוּ כִסְאוֹת לְמִשְׁפָּט כִּסְאוֹת לְבֵית דָּוִיד:
{ו} שַׁאֲלוּ שְׁלוֹם יְרוּשָׁלִָם יִשְׁלָיוּ אֹהֲבָיִךְ:
{ז} יְהִי שָׁלוֹם בְּחֵילֵךְ שַׁלְוָה בְּאַרְמְנוֹתָיִךְ:
{ח} לְמַעַן אַחַי וְרֵעָי אֲדַבְּרָה נָּא שָׁלוֹם בָּךְ:
{ט} לְמַעַן בֵּית יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ אֲבַקְשָׁה טוֹב לָךְ:

1. A Song of Maalot of David. I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of the Lord!
2. Our feet shall stand inside your gates, O Jerusalem!
3. Jerusalem is built as a city which is bound firmly together; 4. There the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, as was decreed for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the Lord!
5. For thrones of judgment were set there, the thrones of the house of David!
6. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem; those who love you shall prosper!
7. Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces!
8. For my brothers and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within you!
9. Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek your good!
