Tehillim 95 - Chapter 95 - Psalm 95

Lechú neranená ladonai, nariá letsur yish’ênu
Necadmá fanav betoda, bizmirot naría lo
Ki El gadol Adonai, umélech gadol al col elohim
Asher beiado mechkerê árets, vetoafot harim lo
Asher lo haiam vehu assáhu, veiabéshet iadav iatsáru
Bôu nishtachave venichráa, nivrecha lifnê Adonai ossênu
Ki hu Elohênu, vaanáchnu am mar’ito vetson iado, haiom im becoló tishmáu
Al tac’shú levavchem kimrivá, keiom massá bamidbar
Asher nissúni avotechêm, bechanúni gam raú faolí
Arbaim shaná acut bedor, vaomar am toê levav hem, vehem lo iadeú derachái
Asher nishbáti veapí, im ievoún el menuchatí

1. O come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise to him with psalms.
3. For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
4. In his hand are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the mountains are also his.
5. The sea is his, and he made it; and his hands formed the dry land.
6. O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
7. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Even today, if you will only listen to his voice!
8. Do not harden your hearts, like you did at Meribah, and like you did in the day of Massah in the wilderness;
9. When your fathers tempted me, and tested me, even though they had seen my deeds.
10. For forty years I loathed that generation, and said, They are a people who err in their heart, and they do not know my ways.
11. Therefore I swore in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

To prevent being influenced to do wrong

This psalm speaks of the future, when man will say to his fellow, "Come, let us sing and offer praise to God for the miracles He has performed for us!"
