El necamot Adonai, El necamot hofía
Hinassê shofet haárets, hashev guemul al gueím
Ad matai reshaim Adonai, ad matai reshaim iaalózu
Iabíu iedaberu atac, yit’amerú col pôale áven
Amechá Adonai iedakeú venachalatechá ieanú
Almana veguer iaharôgu, vitomim ieratsêchu
Vaiomeru lo yir’ê Iá, veló iavin Elohê Iaacov
Bínu boarim baam, uch’silim matai taskílu
Hanôta ózen halo yishma, im iôtser áyin halo iabit
Haiosser goyim halo iochíach, hamelamed adam dáat
Adonai iodêa mach’shevot adam, ki hêma hável
Ashrê haguéver asher teiasserênu Iá, umitoratechá telamedênu
Lehashkit lo míme ra, ad yicarê larasha sháchat
Ki lo yitosh Adonai amo, venachalato lo iaazov
Ki ad tsédec iashuv mishpat, veacharav col yishrê lev
Mi iacum li im mereím, mi yit’iatsev li im pôale áven
Lulê Adonai ezráta li, kim’at shachna dumá nafshi
Im amárti máta ragli, chasdechá Adonai yis’adêni
Berov sar’apai bekirbi, tanchumêcha ieshaash’ú nafshi
Haichovrecha kisse havot, iotser amal ale choc
Iagôdu al néfesh tsadic, vedam naki iarshíu
Vaihi Adonai li lemisgav, velohai letsur mach’si
Vaiáshev alehem et onam uv’raatam iatsmitem, iatsmitem Adonai Elohênu

1. O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs; O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth.
2. Lift up yourself, you judge of the earth; render to the arrogant their reward.
3. Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph? 4. How long shall they utter and speak hard things? And all the evil doers boast themselves? 5. They crush your people, O Lord, and afflict your heritage.
6. They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the orphan.
7. Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, nor shall the God of Jacob regard it.
8. Understand, you stupid among the people; and you fools, when will you be wise? 9. He who planted the ear, shall he not hear? He who formed the eye, shall he not see? 10. He who chastises the nations, shall he not chastise? He who teaches man knowledge, 11. The Lord, knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12. Happy is the man whom you chasten, O Lord, and whom you teach from your Torah; 13. That you may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit is dug for the wicked.
14. For the Lord will not cast off his people, nor will he forsake his inheritance.
15. But judgment shall return to righteousness; and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16. Who will rise up for me against the evil doers? Who will stand up for me against the evil doers? 17. Unless the Lord had been my help, my soul would soon had dwelt in silence.
18. When I said, My foot slips; your loving kindness, O Lord, held me up.
19. When the cares of my heart are many your comforts delight my soul.
20. Shall the seat of iniquity, which frames mischief by law, have fellowship with you? 21. They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
22. But the Lord has become my fortress; and my God, the rock of my refuge.
23. And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; the Lord our God shall cut them off.

For success against enemies

An awe-inspiring and wondrous prayer with which every individual can pray for the redemption. It is also an important moral teaching.
