{א} לַמְנַצֵּחַ עַל הַשְּׁמִינִית מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד:
{ב} הוֹשִׁיעָה יְהוָה כִּי גָמַר חָסִיד כִּי פַסּוּ אֱמוּנִים מִבְּנֵי אָדָם:
{ג} שָׁוְא יְדַבְּרוּ אִישׁ אֶת רֵעֵהוּ שְׂפַת חֲלָקוֹת בְּלֵב וָלֵב יְדַבֵּרוּ:
{ד} יַכְרֵת יְהוָה כָּל שִׂפְתֵי חֲלָקוֹת לָשׁוֹן מְדַבֶּרֶת גְּדֹלוֹת:
{ה} אֲשֶׁר אָמְרוּ לִלְשֹׁנֵנוּ נַגְבִּיר שְׂפָתֵינוּ אִתָּנוּ מִי אָדוֹן לָנוּ:
{ו} מִשֹּׁד עֲנִיִּים מֵאַנְקַת אֶבְיוֹנִים עַתָּה אָקוּם יֹאמַר יְהוָה אָשִׁית בְּיֵשַׁע יָפִיחַ לוֹ:
{ז} אִמֲרוֹת יְהוָה אֲמָרוֹת טְהֹרוֹת כֶּסֶף צָרוּף בַּעֲלִיל לָאָרֶץ מְזֻקָּק שִׁבְעָתָיִם:
{ח} אַתָּה יְהוָה תִּשְׁמְרֵם תִּצְּרֶנּוּ מִן הַדּוֹר זוּ לְעוֹלָם:
{ט} סָבִיב רְשָׁעִים יִתְהַלָּכוּן כְּרֻם זֻלּוּת לִבְנֵי אָדָם:

{ג} שָׁ֤וְא ׀ יְֽדַבְּרוּ֮ אִ֤ישׁ אֶת־רֵ֫עֵ֥הוּ שְׂפַ֥ת חֲלָק֑וֹת בְּלֵ֖ב וָלֵ֣ב יְדַבֵּֽרוּ׃
{ד} יַכְרֵ֣ת יְ֭הוָה כָּל־שִׂפְתֵ֣י חֲלָק֑וֹת לָ֝שׁ֗וֹן מְדַבֶּ֥רֶת גְּדֹלֽוֹת׃
{ה} אֲשֶׁ֤ר אָֽמְר֨וּ ׀ לִלְשֹׁנֵ֣נוּ נַ֭גְבִּיר שְׂפָתֵ֣ינוּ אִתָּ֑נוּ מִ֖י אָד֣וֹן לָֽנוּ׃
{ו} מִשֹּׁ֥ד עֲנִיִּים֮ מֵאַנְקַ֢ת אֶבְי֫וֹנִ֥ים עַתָּ֣ה אָ֭קוּם יֹאמַ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה אָשִׁ֥ית בְּ֝יֵ֗שַׁע יָפִ֥יחַֽ לֽוֹ׃
{ז} אִֽמֲר֣וֹת יְהוָה֮ אֲמָר֢וֹת טְהֹ֫ר֥וֹת כֶּ֣סֶף צָ֭רוּף בַּעֲלִ֣יל לָאָ֑רֶץ מְ֝זֻקָּ֗ק שִׁבְעָתָֽיִם׃
{ח} אַתָּֽה־יְהוָ֥ה תִּשְׁמְרֵ֑ם תִּצְּרֶ֓נּוּ ׀ מִן־הַדּ֖וֹר ז֣וּ לְעוֹלָֽם׃
{ט} סָבִ֗יב רְשָׁעִ֥ים יִתְהַלָּכ֑וּן כְּרֻ֥ם זֻ֝לּ֗וּת לִבְנֵ֥י אָדָֽם׃

Lamnatsêach al hasheminit mizmor ledavid
Hoshía Adonai ki gamar chassid, ki fassu emunim mibenê adam
Shav iedaberú ish et reêhu, sefat chalacót, belev valev iedabêru
Iach’ret Adonai col siftê chalacót, lashon medabéret guedolót
Asher ameru lileshonênu nagbir sefatênu itánu, mi adon lánu
Mishod aniyim meencat evionim, ata acum iomar Adonai, ashit beiêsha iafíach lo
Imerot Adonai amarot tehorot, késsef tsaruf, baalil laárets mezucac shiv’atáyim
Ata Adonai tishmerem, titserênu min hador zu leolam
Saviv reshaim yit’haláchun, kerum zulut livnê adam
Tehillim 12 - Tehillim translated into english
1. To the chief Musician, according to the Sheminith, A Psalm of David.
2. Help Lord, for the pious man ceases; for the faithful vanish from among the children of men.
3. They speak vanity every one with his neighbor; with flattering lips and with a double heart they speak.
4. The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks arrogant things;
5. Who have said, With our tongue we will prevail; our lips are our own; who is lord over us?
6. For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, said the Lord; I will set him in safety at whom they hiss.
7. The words of the Lord are pure words; like silver refined in a furnace upon the ground, purified seven times.
8. You shall keep them, O Lord, you shall preserve them from this generation forever.
9. The wicked walk on every side, when vileness is exalted among the son of men.
